“The mountain open to everybody”: the whole skiing area is open to handicapped persons who receive a special welcome both from the slope staff and the association “La Pierre Handiski Pyrénées”. This association, which is recognized with the national classification “Tourism and Handicap”, aims to help disabled people discover the pleasure of skiing. It is a regional handiski hub which offers a warm welcome, teaching and skiing for all types of handicaps, competitive equipment and with the same price for a ski pass as able people.
The association is recognized by the national classification “Tourism and Handicap” for motor, mental and visual handicaps.
The lifts and the skiing area are accessible.
The slope staff has been trained in awareness towards the handicapped..
Personalized ski lessons, training periods, outings and trainings with specialized ESF (French ski school) instructors.
A small welcoming chalet is located on the snowfront.
Appropriate high-performance equipment can be rented.
