Arguibelle: Climbing spot

Who has never dreamed of climbing to the tops of the trees or the mountain summits?

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced climber, there is no place for improvisation in rock climbing. You will be able to fulfil your dreams on Arguibelle Cliff, taking advantage of the superb panorama over the Barlanès valley and the Soule and be fully insured.
To get there from the Barétous valley: head out of Lanne en Barétous, towards Issarbe. After approximately 7km, follow the “ Rocher escalade ” sign on the right.

Leisure and recreation park in Aramits landscaped over several hectares with a panoramic view facing the peaks, specialising in mechanical sports with introduction to the activities.

  Quad: initiation and ride on the slopes with an instructor (from €30 for 30 minutes per person),
  4X4: A ride in a four-wheel-drive vehicle, with a driver on a mountain slope (minimum 4 people: €25/hour per person)

Canyoning, rafting, tyrolean climbing: from 1/2 day outing to full training course. Climbing and river guide (independent) Laurent Clouturier, will help you to discover the best of the natural sports activities on his native playground.

Play wall

Arette, as tradition requires, has a play wall for pelota. Players of this traditional regional game using bare hands, pelota and wicker basket are welcome every Tuesday in July and August (from 6.OOpm). Free and open to all.

Issarbe

Plenty of activities, a bucket load of novelties... Issarbe, everybody will take a liking for it!
Discover this wonderful place on foot, with your family and a Pyrenean donkey, on your bike, it’s up to you!
Mountain guides and mountain bike instructors are available to supervise your request.

The little ones can play with the farm animals: they will soon make friends with the donkeys "Babar" and "Popeye". The little world is watched over by « Merlin » the great Pyrenean dog and his inseparable companion « Taz ». At Issarbe, get some fresh air... get high: on booking, let’s try paragliding!

With a natuure guide (for groups of 8 to 15 people):
